If only the rest of Horrow’s book (written with Lary Bloom) were that instructive. Yes, Horrow has been a key player, often behind the scenes, in the field of building fields of dreams, all in the name of economic development and rejuvenating cities. He can name-drop with the best of them, telling tales of hanging with bold-face sports and business names like David Stern, Art Modell and Fay Vincent (and he settles scores with many who angered him). His persistence–he was fired from one position several times before finally keeping it–is admirable.
