The Outer Worlds Canid’s Cradle Walkthrough
The first step in The Outer Worlds’ Canid’s Cradle quest is to reach a crashed UDL gunship, and it is located south of the Sulfur Pits in the Monarch Wilderness. Upon arrival, players should extract the Gunship Captain’s Key from the terminal inside and enter the now-open door. In this section of the craft, fans will find the Cantankerous Canid Targeting Module, which they should pick up to advance to the next part of the quest.

It is at this point that Canid’s Cradle really opens up, with players seemingly forced to decide if they will give the Module to Sanjar and the MSI or Graham and the Iconoclasts. However, fans that are looking to broker peace between these two factions, which will affect The Outer Worlds’ ending, should ignore both of those option and instead follow these steps:
Speak with Sanjar at Stellar Bay, and ask him to agree to a truce with the Iconoclasts. Continue pushing this idea and offer Zora as a potential partner when possible. This will prompt Sanjar to request Zora’s reviews, which players will find on a terminal in the back office at Rizzo’s in Cascadia. After obtaining Zora’s Executive Review, The Outer Worlds fans should return to Sanjar, and he will now be amenable to speaking with Zora. Players should now speak with Zora at Amber Heights, complete her Sucker Bait side quest, and then exit and re-enter the town. Upon reentry, Zora will approach the player, and they should agree to support her in her confrontation of Graham. This will ultimately lead to killing Graham. Fans can now speak with Zora once again and use Persuade or Intelligence to convince her to negotiate with Sanjar. Players should make their way to the OSI church near Stellar Bay to monitor the negotiations and complete The Outer Worlds’ Canid’s Cradle quest.
With this side quest finished, fans are now free to return to working on Radio Free Monarch, which will be very near to its conclusion. They will then be able to move on to The Outer Worlds’ The City and the Stars quest, which centers around stealing a certain chemical compound.
The Outer Worlds is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
